Hi I’m Aleks Kudić.
It’s my hope that some of posts here highlight the challenges and opportunities I face at different points in time in my role as entrepreneur, Engineering Manager / CTO, startup CEO, and help you as a catalyst for better people, product and technology decisions.
I try to build fast the best services over the long term by quickly releasing and learning from smaller iterations rather than trying to get everything right all at once. I believe in making ‘small bets’ to learn quickly and I support developer’s mindset that ‘done is better than perfect’ most of the time.
About me: I consult business owners/managers, guiding them on leveraging modern technology for survival and, ideally, growth.
Most recently I was an Engineering Manager at Meta / Facebook.
Earlier, I served as the CTO for three organisations – Funding Options, Dynamo Mortgages, and Grove Capital – with full-time employee counts ranging from 50 to 350. Additionally, I co-founded a data analytics company, which was acquired by a major gaming company.
In my spare time, I write short books aimed at CTOs and Engineering Manager, which are available on Amazon.
I have a BEng from University College London (Electrical Engineering) and a MBA from INSEAD.
Please note (as legally advised): The views expressed in my blog and books are strictly personal and do not represent the stance of Meta.
I frequently share my learnings on Twitter under @alekskudic.
